The Twilight Zone
(A Student Adaptation)
Crew Position: Production Manager, Casting Assistant, Front-of-House Manager, and Grip.
Logline for "The Monsters Are Due on Maple Street": Neighbors in the high-rise Maple Street Apartments resort to hostility while trying to survive a supernatural event.
Comments: For this project, I worked with dozens of other crew members (students and professionals) to adapt and produce three episodes of The Twilight Zone in one semester's time. While I was a grip and set-building worker for two episodes, "Monsters" was the episode I largely worked on. It was intended to be viewed live and was blocked like a stage production instead of a television episode. Our team did record the live performance but a final cut of this episode was never finished. Despite this, I'm incredibly proud of the work that I and the other crew members completed in order to make a fantastic live product accompanied by a live musical orchestra.
